These are the official IB Diploma Programme May 2026 exam dates for Computer Science.

Important: IB publishes exams by Morning and Afternoon sessions. Your exact start time depends on your school’s timetable and time zone, so always confirm with your IB coordinator.

Quick dates (Computer Science HL & SL)

• Paper 1 (HL & SL): Thursday 30 April 2026 (PM)

• Paper 2 (HL & SL): Monday 4 May 2026 (AM)

• Paper 3 (HL only): Monday 4 May 2026 (AM)

How to use these dates to revise properly

Paper 1 (end of April)

• Build accuracy on definitions + explanations

• Practise structured answers (point → reason → example)

Paper 2 + Paper 3 (same morning)

Because HL has Paper 2 and Paper 3 on the same morning, you need stamina and pace:

• practise two timed blocks back-to-back at least once per week in the final month

• prioritise quick, clean method marks (don’t over-write)

The fastest score increase

• do timed questions

• mark them strictly

• keep an error log

• redo your weakest question types every week
