Why we have this page
We want you to understand what information we keep when you learn with Shuttle Learning, and what we do with it. No legal jargon, just the facts.
Who we are
We are Shuttle Learning, the company that runs the Python and Computer Science learning app you use at school.
What we keep about you
Your school email and name, from your Microsoft sign-in.
Your answers, your scores and your feedback.
Your code is used to mark you and then deleted straight away. If the marking breaks, we keep your code for up to 24 hours so we can find out why, then it is deleted automatically.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your data.
We do not show you ads.
We do not use your code to train AI.
We do not track you. There is no analytics of any kind in the app.
Your school is in charge
Your school decides who can see your work, like your teacher. If you want your data deleted, ask your teacher first, or email us and we will help.
AI and your code
When you submit code, it is sent to Google's Gemini AI to be marked and given feedback, and then your code is deleted. Google does not use it to train its AI. The AI's mark is there to help you learn — your teacher, not the AI, decides how you are doing.
How we improve the app
We count things like "how many people found question 4 hard" so we can fix our lessons. Those counts have no name, no account and no code in them, and we only look at them once at least 10 people have tried a question. Nothing in them points to you.
How long we keep things
Your scores and feedback are deleted 12 months after the end of the school year. Your account is deleted 12 months after you last sign in.
Cookies
We use a little essential storage to keep you signed in. That is it.
Your rights in plain words
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or complain if you are unhappy.

Email support@shuttlelearning.com. There is no wrong question, and we are happy to help.
One promise
We collect as little as we can, and we never use your information for anything other than helping you learn.
